The Kaza Market is famous for local handicrafts, woolens, and Tibetan-style souvenirs.
The region hosts festivals like the Ladarcha Fair, which brings together traders from Ladakh, Tibet, and Spiti.

Tabo Monastery, located in Tabo village, is often called the “Ajanta of the Himalayas” due to its ancient murals and paintings.
The monastery was founded in 996 AD, making it over 1,000 years old and one of the oldest continuously operating Buddhist monasteries in the world.
Tabo Monastery is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site candidate.
The monastery complex includes 9 temples, 23 chortens, and monks’ quarters.
