The Highest Shiva Temple in the World

  • Tungnath Temple, at 3,680 meters (12,073 ft), is the highest Shiva temple in the world.
  • It is one of the Panch Kedar temples built by the Pandavas to seek Lord Shiva’s forgiveness.
  • The temple is said to be over 1,000 years old and remains covered in snow during winters.

Chandrashila – The Moon Rock Summit

  • Chandrashila means “Moon Rock” and is believed to be the spot where Lord Rama meditated after defeating Ravana.
  • The summit offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedar Dome, and Chaukhamba.
  • The trek is moderate and can be done year-round, but winter treks (December-February) are extra thrilling with snow-covered landscapes.

DAY 0 – Departure for Chopta : Assemble & Board vehicle from Akshardham metro station at 9 PM, Depart for Kedarnath at 9:30 PM Overnight journey  Delhi to Devpryag (Where Bhagirathi Meets Alakhnanda)

DAY 1 – Reach Chopta & Forest Walk : Early morning reached Devprayag, breakfast and view Alakhnanda & Bhagirathi sangam, Continue journey to Chopta after lunch a Guided forest trek Evening snacks, bonfire, music with fellow travellers

DAY 2 – Tungnath and Chandrashila Trek : Early morning wakeup & freshenup Sunrise view, breakfast at campsite Drive to trek starting point, hike to Tungnath sightseing and capture memories at the trek take Devine darshana of Tungnath Mahadev and start trek to Chandrashila summit, Return to campsite, evening snacks, bonfire, music

DAY 3 – Deoria Tal Trek : After Breakfast, check-out from campsite Drive to Sari village (starting point of deoriatal trek), Trek to deoriatal serenic view of lake and himalyan view, lunch and drive back to Delhi

Day 4 – Back to Delhi : Early morning reached Delhi say bye to your co-travellers and trip captain Back to home with lot’s of pictures, Dirty clothes and unforgettable memories.
