  • UNESCO World Heritage Site:
    Valley of Flowers was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005 for its unique alpine flora and stunning natural beauty.
  • Home to 500+ Species of Flowers :
    The valley blooms with over 500 different species of flowers, many of which are rare and found only in the Himalayas.

  • Blooming Season is Very Short :
    Flowers bloom only between June to September each year. By early October, the valley is covered in snow.

  • Discovered by Accident:
    British mountaineer Frank Smythe accidentally discovered the valley in 1931 when he lost his way while returning from a mountaineering expedition.
  • Medicinal Plants Heaven :
    The valley has several medicinal plants including Brahma Kamal, Bharam Kamal, and Blue Poppy, known for their healing properties.

  • Zero Human Settlement :
    No one is allowed to stay inside the valley overnight—it’s a strictly protected zone to preserve its fragile ecosystem.

  • Mythological Connection :
    According to Hindu belief, the Valley of Flowers is the place where Hanuman brought Sanjeevani Booti to save Lakshmana.
  • No Vehicles Allowed :
    You must trek to reach the valley. Vehicles can only go up to Govindghat; from there, it’s a 16 km trek.

  • Rare Wildlife Zone :
    The valley is home to endangered species like the Snow Leopard, Asian Black Bear, and Musk Deer—although sightings are rare.

DAY 0 – Delhi to – Govindghat :  Departure from delhi at 7pm from Akshardham metro station gate no.1 geather at pickup point at 6pm

DAY 1 – Arrive in Govindghat : Check-in at hotel or

Rest and refresh Briefing about the next day’s trek.

DAY 2 – Valley of Flowers : Have an early breakfast Trek to the Valley of Flowers (3.5 km one way, 3-4 hours one way) Explore the Valley of Flowers Packed lunch Return to Ghangaria (3 hours) Rest and refresh Leisure time.

DAY 3 – Return to Govindghat : Have an early breakfast – Trek back to Govindghat (14 km, 5-6 hours) Arrival at Govindghat have lunch and checkout from hotel and depart for Delhi overnight journey. 

DAY 4 – Return to Delhi : DAY 3 – Early morning reched Delhi collect your bags and memories and say good bye to your co travellers and trip captain.
